My Photography Journey
My name is Sonja Myburgh. I fell in love with photography during my training years as a radiographer while doing a module on basic photography, film development and all the components needed to create a good photo.
In later years I've combined my love for nature, wildlife and people with my photography and found a way to express myself in photographs and photo art that tells a story. I color outside the lines when it comes to the rules for wildlife photography.

Monochrome photography, in my mind, emphasize the object and doesn't distract your focus. I love simplicity and therefore try to use minimalistic objects in my photos. Patterns and movement guide your eye to see the art of movement in most of the pictures. I hope that you will find the same pleasure when hanging my photo art on your wall than the pleasure I get from creating these pieces.
